Of matter and energy

Starting in the 1950-70s (which is termed as the end of Kali Yuga or the beginning of the new age) through the work of the Rishis, sages, sidhhars or light workers as they were variously called on this earth and the many devas and devatas, there was a material alteration in the nature of this earth. Matter was made more porous, it began to retain more energy with its attendant quality of flexibility.

As a result matter became weaker in permanence but began to provide an exit into energy for anyone who was looking for it.

In the past, there was predictability in everything. Family structure, village structure, kingdoms, tradition, there was continuity. This was the permanence of matter, solid but static.

A joint family house was built to last generations, marriages would last a lifetime, a horse would be reared from birth to death and remain with the human. Today we change clothes, cars, houses casually and we don’t expect anything to last very long. Matter is no longer like a steel cup but like a fired clay cup, it’s becoming disposable.

Memories, identities, beliefs too don’t matter to the younger generations as they used to in the past, it’s too rigid.

The nature of this new existence is that everything is questioned, everything is changing all the time, which is a moment of stress and a moment of new possibility. Though simply called new age energies or golden age energies their effect is felt in the global economy, in politics, in lifestyles. Though the world supplies mundane explanations and treats them as separate events, they arise from the hidden subtle forces that rule the world.

As a result of this weakness in matter the intellect became empowered, hence the technological breakthroughs. The same intellect also brought down many institutions without fully understanding them. Too much intelligence, too little wisdom.

This churn is by its nature violent and can only be utilised profitably if one is able to transcend matter and material identity.

Matter is solid, whereas energy doesn’t hold any form.

One is gross, the other subtle.

In humans the body has a shape, the mind doesn’t. It only exists through your mental perception. That is, the mind has to perceive the mind. Another body or your own body can’t perceive it.

That’s the difference between human and God too. Divine beings exist in subtle realms meaning their material component is near zero or zero. Their division between me and you is also zero.

If you even perceive God as a golden or white light that’s still got a material element, however slight.

The mind itself isn’t solid but it’s able to interact with the brain to create memories. That part of the mind that records memories is the grossest part of the mind, for it interacts with matter. Such a mind which interacts with matter is very slow, it has to compromise intelligence and speed for durability.

Matter is useful because it has rigidity. A coffee cup made of metal, porcelain, stone, fired clay is solid enough to hold a hot liquid, but even as fired clay the matter is not solid enough, and allows liquid to penetrate and permeate. A cloth cup would be very inefficient. The solid cup has a form, it can break, but the liquid poured inside has a limited temporary shape. So even in matter there are degrees of flexibility.

Memory which exists at the edge of matter thus is a boon, but also a problem because the more memory there is the less escape is possible to the subtle. Karma is memory, which is why one has to lose karma to be able to perceive the divine.

The subtler the mind gets, one enters the dream state, here too there are events and experiences as in life but they don’t have rigid laws of physics or time to hold them down. Here the actor identity and sense of will is subtle.

Subtler still are the states of transcendental awareness, going deeper and deeper until there’s no object of awareness - which is called nirvikalpa samadhi. Where there’s still some sense awareness, some mind activity, some memory, some sense of time it’s called sarvikalpa samadhi

When one is in the astral body it’s in a realm altogether different from samadhi states. One is using the prana-maya-kosha to travel but remains attached to the physical using a silver cord of energy.

When one is at the threshold of matter and energy the astral sights and sounds are heard. That’s why some can see visions and others can’t. Everyone transits between the gross and subtle in sleep but only a few keep both doors open all the time. You will see that those who experience visions all the time will be light sleepers, and can’t be physically or mentally very active, the open door to the other realm will not allow them to fully engage in this material realm.

There’s an infinity of knowledge on this or any topic, which is why it’s said that all that we learn is a fistful, but there’s a world of knowledge that we don’t know.

A blessing from Surya Bhagavan.

Those who claim to have seen aliens or promise untold wealth through crypto coins and NFT sound more credulous than those who claim to have discovered their inherent divinity and surrendered to it. That’s the world we live in today. We are so lost in materiality that we can’t see a life without it.

We are in the midst of WW3 even if the news won’t announce it. There’s a climate calamity that is unstoppable with an upper bound of a hundred years, if we are lucky. The future of the world is staked on an as yet non-existent AI super intelligence in a desperate hope that provided such a super intelligence won’t kill all humans it will save them from their centuries of follies. The can of consequences has been kicked down the road for long enough, every government in the world is running out of options, their karmic bills are coming due. There’s no way to provide for the survival of the entirety of humanity for the next hundred years, let alone their collective aspirations. The doomsday bunkers and self contained panic islands reveal the cards of the billionaire class.

In these times of assured destruction people are still looking to go long on defense stocks, hedge against a currency collapse with gold and continue to trust in the power of their vote in an attempt to buy insurance from entities whose own survival is in question.

The world today runs on fear and greed and the rest of the seven deadly sins. Humanity has been losing its way for at least 4000 years, ever since the logic of logicians convinced man of the superiority of his intellect.

The divine wish is to see a world that runs on unconditional love and a total unity of all life, where every human can feel the hunger pangs of the bear in the woods as their own because they are one consciousness, and will go out seeking to feed it, or even to offer this body as a meal, for such will be their generosity. Life exists on unconditional generosity and sacrifice, and cannot run on greed and selfishness.

The goal of organized religion has been to keep the truth of God away from humans. It’s catered to the petty desires for so long that they have become only about worldly power, so for sure institutional religions won’t save humanity this time.

In unprecedented times the rational voice is not one that sounds familiar and sane, but one that sounds like it has gone too far.

I’m not here to be a prophet of doom but I’m tired of seeing good humans too busy “succeeding” in the current system to see it’s upon its expiry.

There’s a divine government that maintains life that’s invisible to the eyes of the human. There has always been, but one must surrender to it to receive its protection.

One must die to one’s narrow identity as an individual, as oneself, to be born into something bigger.

This is not a journey that an institution, or guide can make for you, it is an intensely personal seeking. There isn’t time to do this tomorrow or the day after, it might already be too late.

Despair and panic are not unreasonable reactions, but they form the basis of visada yoga, or the yoga of despair that can lead one into new knowledge because the old ways are thrown out as useless.

Such a transformation cannot be engineered from above, it has to happen one consciousness at a time. For that is free will.

God doesn’t want anyone’s surrender out of coercion or greed, it has to be unconditional and complete for no reason other than love.

Just as a badly behaved child thinks the parent is only good as a walking ATM, the badly behaved human thinks gods and nature are only here for their convenience and that they have no responsibilities of behaviour or conduct.

The temples of old were built in times when humans knew to respect life. When humans knew to sacrifice their surplus for the general well being.

Today mountains are blown up to extract minerals, forests are denuded to rob their timber, lakes and rivers are emptied for greed. How can such a human treat the gods in temples any differently?

Nala merely forgets to wash his feet, and Kali enters his being to possess him, making him lose his kingdom and go into exile. The actions of the modern human are far worse.

Just as Nala regains his true form only after trials and a surrender to truth, humans must own up to their follies and choose truth.
